Site Reorg

7 02 2009

Greeetings! So I have decided to re-organize this site to present a more balanced and professional representation of who I am as a photographer. As many of you know I take a Wide variety of shots and like being a generalist as well as a specialist. I think this will lend better to the diversity of my work.

That being said… changes forthcoming.

This Week

9 10 2008

This past week I have been working on editing recent shoots including the Fort Rucker Fall Soccer Green Lizards shoot now showing in Proofs.
I have also been working on the photos from my Destin, FL Trip as well as a fun shoot of the dragonflies playing in our backyard.

I’m now taking pics for regular updates to the SnapShot LemonLot on GoMotherRucker.com. I placed a community ad at GoMotherRucker.com on the Get Connected! page.

For next week I will be working on the Parcours Lake Shoot and adding scripture to some of my shots. Stay tuned!

Photokina 2008 Coverage

25 09 2008

This year’s Photokina Show is taking place in Cologne, Germany  Sept. 23 – 28, 2008. Obviously, the show is already underway at the time of this writing. Important announcements include: Nikon 50mm f/1.4 Nikkor AF-S Nikkor Lens due out in December, Tokina has announced that it will add a line of lenses with Nikon AF-S motors, and the META Working Group has announced it’s first guidline for photo meta data. Unfortunately, Nikon is not a collaborator of this group for some reason.

Coverage of the new Nikon D90 is available at kenrockwell.comdpreview.com, and www.photokina-show.com. From the sound of some recent reviews out there, the D90 may be better than Nikon’s year-old predacessors the D300 and D3 which sell for as much as 5 times what the D90 is retailing at.

Coverage of Photokina 2008 is also available from kenrockwell.com and dpreview.com .
